it's come time for me to leave.
i honestly feel at this point continuing to visit this site and others like it is starting to hinder me from moving on by keeping all the feelings of pain, resentment, regret, etc fresh.. i haven't posted a lot since i have been on here but to those of you that replied when i did, i appreciate it very much.
you helped me through a very rough time that is affecting me to this day.

If you want to come back and find out what's going on in the wacky JW world, you'll get more interesting info here than anything you'd find on JW.bORG. Or if you want to come back and testify that your life after WT is going wonderfully, we love to hear those stories!

Hmmm, the link isn't working right now. It looks like they pulled the song from their website. They must be rewriting it to accommodate my revised lyrics.
I think the revised title should be something like, "Teach Them Cart Witnessing" or "Teach Them Not to Visit Jehovahs-Witness.com"
...they talk about how they "turned down" scholarships in order to pioneer.
If your name gets out there, colleges (particularly 'for profit' ones) will offer "scholarships" for a few thousand dollars discounted from tuition. I got an academic scholarship that reduced my tuition at a state university, but I had to apply to the school first.
Otherwise, these kids are probably talking about how they turned down scholarship applications.

Millie, baptism song would explain the "we" and "them" in the wording. And the dirge-like song would seem appropriate for the crowd to be singing as the baptismal victims have said their "yes"s and head off with their towels and modest bathing suits to change.
But for a baptismal song, shouldn't the lyrics be more like:
"Now we watch them dunked in the pool,
Gotta get this done before they start public school!
For 'Christian' parents, we have this tip:
These kids act up? We disfellowship!"
a couple years back my hall had around 12 elders, and the body was literally divided into little factions of elders(gotta love jehovah's holy spirit !).
the branch sent 2 more elders to help resolve the issues between them, and that didn't help at all.. so when the circuit overseer visited, a meeting was held after the sunday meeting.
i waited in the hall by myself since the rest of my family was out of town for a certain family event.
I've been in some long ones. I think the longest was 8 hours.
Such a waste of time. I wish I could have those hours... and years back.
the bible has lost its luster during this age of information so many real truths have been brought to light with the help of the internet, that the bible just isn't looked upon the same if at all anymore.
if you can still cling to the bible after thorough research then "god bless you"!
